On the general News pages, learn of the available Ad Banners, where they are displayed and how they all share the various locations on the websites.
News Page locations: Note that this info refers to the Ad Banners displayed on the News Pages. (On Advertisers own news stories the same banners get exclusively shown as well as their own Facebook and Twitter feeds )
Sail-World advertisers ad banner choices extend further than any other online options available adding exceptional value and scope to any advertising campaign enabling almost limitless possibilities.
The Ad Banners display differently on the websites and newsletters.

- Two sizes are provided that are displayed in three different locations. These banners are the Top (Leaderboard) 728 x 90 px; Side (*MPU) 300 x 250 px and Bottom 728 x 90 banners.
- They all change with other advertisers banners after every few page **refreshes, with the change frequency different for each banner location.
- Top banners display on top of the websites and change after each **page refresh, with only the one available space to do this.
- Side (MPU) banners: On PC desktops and laptops display down the right side of the page and switch their location up and down the page after each **page refresh, with 30 available positions to share the changes.
- Side (MPU) banners: On smartphones display across the page and change after each **page refresh.
- Bottom banners display on the bottom of stories and the home page and also change after each **page refresh, with three available positions to be shared.
(*MPU = Mid Page Unit, An #IAB standard ad unit dimensioned as 300×250 pixels (#IAB = International Advertising Bureau))
(**A Page refresh occurs from either opening a new story or clicking the ‘Refresh’ button on your device)
The Newsletter Ad Banners:
- The same three size/location banners are displayed with the Top (Leaderboard) 728 x 90 px on top of Newsletters; Side (*MPU) 300 x 250 px on side of Newsletters and Bottom 728 x 90 banners on bottom of Newsletters.
- They remain in their locations after the newsletter has been published.
- Each newsletter displays the banners in different locations.
News Page display VS Advertisers story display.
On Websites: On general news stories (not associated with an Advertiser) and the Home page, these banners swap with other advertisers banners.
Whereas on an Advertisers own story pages only that Advertisers banner is displayed and not swapped with other advertisers banners. The advertisers Facebook feed + side banners OR Facebook feed + Twitter feed is displayed down the right side of the story. Your previous stories are also displayed below as ‘Related Articles’. View the video example of these unique options from 25 secs to 1.05 secs on the Advertisers Guide to Sail-World.com video.
On Newsletters: Banners only swap between each published newsletter. If a newsletter story is clicked, it will display on the Sail-World website with either the shared or exclusive banner selection depending on if the clicked story is a general news or advertisers story (See note above).
728 X 90 pixels: Top of Website pages AND Top of Newsletters.
300 X 250 pixels: Side of Website and Newsletter pages plus across page on smartphones.
728 X 90 pixels: Bottom of website home page and stories PLUS Bottom of Newsletter Banners.
