Sail-World’s Public Exposure

Sail-World.com’s local and global exposure remains high due to many activities.

Our growing readership is due to a legacy of high Google search ranks, news media alerts, newsletter subscriptions, Podcasts, YouTube videos, Twitter and Facebook feeds. However there are other offline and online activities that continue to increase Sail-World’s global and local public exposure, which attracts thousands more visitors to the Sail-World.com websites.
These activities include exhibiting at 15 boat shows, national TV and radio interviews, articles in the NZ Herald and several online interviews with Tom Ehman – Sailing Illustrated that are listed below:

Exhibiting at 15 Boat Shows.
Sail-World.com/NZ have exhibited at 15 boat shows since 2010, including five Hutchwilco NZ Boat Shows and 10 Auckland on Water Boat Shows, now renamed as the Auckland Boat Show. These shows provide a great chance to promote Sail-World, meet our readers, increase newsletter subscribers, network with the industry, talk to advertisers and gain more advertisers.

TVNZ’s 1News and TV3’s Newshub both recognise Richard Gladwell’s America’s Cup journalistic reputation and have interviewed him on many occasions over the years as seen in these examples.

Richard Gladwell has written fortnightly ‘Premium’ content articles for the New Zealand Herald that often include a direct hyperlink to Sail-World.com/NZ. The Herald website notes that there are 45,000 paying ‘Premium’ subscribers accessing their ‘Premium’ content with all able to see Richards stories and be directed to the Sail-World website to be exposed to our advertisers.

Tom Ehman – Sailing Illustrated
Richard has been a guest on Tom Ehman’s Facebook Live chat show 13 times since launching in May 2017 with one recording 15,000 views, the shows most amount of views so far. Tom Ehman has been involved in the top management of many America’s Cup campaigns including Head of External Affairs for Oracle Racing for several years and does two shows per week interviewing top people in the sport.
